Me and author Edna IturraldeOne of the many writers I met at the Highlights conference this summer was the wise and wonderfully charming Ecuadorian author, Edna Iturralde.

Edna has published 23 books, won many national and international awards and is considered one of the most important figures in children and young adult’s literature of her country. Mother of six children, she has dedicated much of her life to write for children.

Edna was game enough to answer 20 tough questions for me:
